How Do I Create a Project Status Report?

A project status report provides you with important information on the status of the project. In factro, you can easily call up the automated report for your project at the touch of a button. There you will find the following information, which is already pre-filled:
  • project team
  • project progress in the pie chart
  • costs as a bar chart
  • comparison between the planned and actual period
  • open milestones
  • overview of disruptors in the project (e.g. time-critical tasks)
  • a field for further information that can be freely added and a field for a short summary.

Create/customize project status report

You can access the report via the 3-dot menu in the project structure tree, in the project header or in the project overview. There, you click on “Create status report”.

The report view opens, in which the details of the project are listed. To edit the report, click on “Customize report” in the blue banner and proceed as follows:

  1. If you want to edit a field, move the mouse over the corresponding tile.
  2. A button with a blue pencil will appear.
  3. Click on it to adjust values or add text.

  4. If you wish to edit a field, move the mouse over the corresponding tile.
  5. As soon as you change something on a tile, this will be displayed.
  6. Please note: All changes to the report cannot be saved permanently, which means you have to export the report to save these views.

Export project status report

If you want to save or print your project status report as a PDF, follow these steps:
  1. Click on Customize report (even if you do not want to change any values). If desired, customize your report as described above. 
  2. Then click on Export report.
  3. A print preview will open.

  4. You can now save your report as a PDF or print it directly.
  5. You will then return to the report view.

Exit edit mode

  1. To exit edit mode, click on Cancel.
  2. A window will appear asking you to confirm that you want to quit editing.
  3. If you have not yet finished editing, click on “Cancel”.
