You have the option to save the current custom view as a template. This is useful if you need the view in other projects or – on an even larger scale – if you want it to be available as a standard in your entire organization. This way, you can inspire each other with templates or, as a project manager, establish the foundation for intuitive project work.
How do I save a custom view as a template?
You will find the option to save the current view as a template under the “Options” tab in the settings menu.
💡For an overview of your saved templates, go to the settings in the menu bar on the left side, click on “Settings” again and then select “View templates”.
Using a custom view in a project
The project views are accessible to all users in the project, except for guests. There are no special access rights. This way, you can prepare the available project views in an optimal way, in order to easily involve the entire project team.
If you find you're missing something in a project view, you can use the filter to refine it for your own use and save it as a favorite.
