      How Do I Link MS Teams to factro?

      In order to use the MS Teams integration, the API and webhooks must be activated in factro. This setting can only be adjusted by the cloud owner:

      1. Open the factro settings menu and click on the settings tab at the top.
      2. Activate API access for your cloud.
      3. Activate access to the webhooks.

      Linking your factro account

      The factro app in MS Teams must be set up individually for each user. To do this, open MS Teams and proceed as follows:

      1. In the “Apps” tab, you can find the integration by searching for “factro” in the search bar.
      2. Click the “Hinzufügen” (add) button to open the chat with the factro bot.
      3. A message will appear at the end of which you click on the button “mit factro verknüpfen” (link to factro).
      4. By clicking “Jetzt anmelden” (register now) you will sign in via cloud.factro.com.
      5. You will be redirected to factro and have to confirm the authorization via “Zugriff erlauben” (allow access) button. The factro bot is now ready for use.

      Note: Do you have your own domain (yourname.factro.com)? Then pick "registration via Managed Private Cloud".

      💡 Important: In case you don't have the necessary permissions within MS Teams, the MS Teams admin must first allow the access and use of the factro app. No team member can use the integration until the admin has set up the necessary permissions.
